Tree Lopping Central Coast

T&G Tree Service

Problem branches cut back without damaging the tree

When branches become overgrown, damaged or too close to your property, T&G Tree Service assesses the tree and recommends the safest way to prune, reduce or remove them. The work is planned around the tree’s species, condition, structure and position rather than simply cutting back growth. This addresses clearance, weight and safety concerns without leaving weak regrowth, poor balance or unnecessary damage.

Common reasons customers request tree cutting

What does tree lopping entail?

Tree lopping is a broad term commonly used for cutting branches or reducing a canopy. In modern arboriculture, the method matters more than the label. Removing large branches at arbitrary points can leave wounds and fast regrowth that are poorly attached. Professional pruning selects cuts for a defined purpose and considers how the tree will respond.

T & G Tree Services was one of the companies I contacted for help in trimming back some large trees on my property. They came to the property promptly, took a good look and suggested the best way to achieve the best results for the trees health, longevity and future growth. Their knowledge is impressive and I was well informed. The quote was given and I accepted. Their office staff kept me updated on the dates, arrival time which was much appreciated so I could give access to the rear of the property as the weather at the time was in a downturn. As the morning progressed, I was informed from the office that the weather was becoming suitable for the work to go ahead a reflection on their care and commitment to the customers. The crew turned up as intended, happy lot, short discussion on the procedure and away they went, preforming their duties well. they worked tirelessly; safety standards were implemented I kept away as the branches came down. The work perfectly coordinated, excellent job, cleaned up as if they were never here, this company does an extremely good service from communication to implementation I highly recommend T & G Tree Services without any hesitations. This company is worthy of good reviews they earn that respect.

I used T&G when I bought my new place on the cemtrql coast, and there were massive trees everywhere that were starting to damage the property and made my pool area non compliant. They came out promptly and took care of everything. They left the place clean and tidy as well. Definitely recommend them.

From obtaining a quote to the team arriving at the scheduled time, reviewing the job of trimming a tree and removing a Palm nothing was a problem. Their attitude was positive and no roadblocks were put up, where previous arborists who have trimmed the tree over its 40 years have made excuses for not attempting difficult limbs, they are now gone. The team were upbeat during the entire job and nothing was a bother. They cleared the work area with a minimum of fuss. Highly recommend this company.

I was very pleased with the work the T&G team did at my place. They did a fantastic job, removing some branches from tall trees, which overhung neighbours' properties and my yard, and cutting back other smaller but leggy trees, letting more light into my yard. All the branches were taken away and mulched, and the yard was left neat and tidy.

Tree Lopping FAQs

Not necessarily. Lopping is a broad search term, while pruning describes selected cuts made for a purpose such as clearance, structure or health.
Sometimes, but the safe amount and method depend on the species and structure. An arborist must inspect the tree before recommending canopy reduction.
Many trees produce rapid regrowth after severe cutting, but the new attachments can be weak. Correct pruning aims to avoid that outcome.
Local rules may apply depending on the tree, work and property. T&G Tree Service can advise on the likely approval pathway after inspection.
